Top 15 Xmas Mood Boosters - The Ultimate Music Collection
You can’t have Xmas without Xmas music. That’s just weird. This time of year, most of you begin to hum Xmas tunes when you shower, even when you take out the trash. Even though it may seem like a scene from a holiday movie from the 50’s, but Xmas is just no fun without all the singing.
I don’t know about you guys, but once I have decorated my Xmas tree, I’ve officially stepped into my own winter wonderland. To make me feel even better, I would play this old record “Christmas with Julie Andrews” (yes an actual record, I’m just that retro) that I’ve listened to since I was a kid. For me, there’s just no Xmas without it.
But, to shake things up a bit, every year I make a little collection of Xmas songs that were big hits at some point. This way then I have some friends over, we can all sing along. This year’s list has some of the absolute favourites of all time. I must admit, I missed a decade or two of Xmas songs, but I hope you like it anyway.
Some of these songs are simply unavoidable, like Carol of the Bells, or Jingle Bells (well this song basically is Christmas. It’s obviously going on the list). There’s no way these songs can’t put you in the Christmas mood with a smile on your face. For all of you hosting an Xmas party this year, I hope this song list will get you and your friends into a cheerful ho-ho-holiday mood!
